Beginner
Have you ever wanted to try roller derby? We run newbie classes that start every autumn where we teach you everything you need to know, no prior skills required! Before the start of the classes, we host Newbie Days for you to try out skating and meet our team. Check our news or follow our Instagram or Facebook to get updates on the next Newbie Day.
On our team, the role of skater is open to anyone:
– who is at least 18 years old
– who experiences marginalization based on their gender (e.g., women [cis, trans and intersex], non-binary and trans masc individuals)
Visitors
If you are visiting Graz for a short time and wish to attend our training sessions while you are here, contact us under info@dustcityrollers.com. Make sure to include your skating experience and which team you currently skate with.
Transfers
If you are already an experienced skater with another league and plan to move to Graz, you can send an e-mail to info@dustcityrollers.com. Please let us know which league you last skated with and how much skating experience you have.
Official
Our own group of experienced officials is always happy to welcome new members! If you are interested in becoming an official yourself (skating or non-skating), they will assist you in your growth. Skating officials can attend our newbie classes to learn the basic skating skills necessary.
