To celebrate 10 years of roller derby in Graz, we wanted to create something to commemorate the last 10 years, so we asked Gabriel Hyden – not really a stranger to skating himself – if he would like to capture it on film. We wanted to show the beauty of roller derby and what it means to be part of a supportive, caring and uplifting community. We are really proud of what we have created with Dust City Rollers; that we have carved this space for ourselves in sports, where we can truly be ourselves and strive towards a common goal. So we would like to take this moment to thank all of you, who have been along for the ride! Cheering, dancing, coaching, officiating, training, playing, designing, filming, photographing and supporting. Even though we’ve been around for a decade, sometimes it feels like we’re just getting started – let’s see what the next 10 years will bring!
